Egismos, leader in the manufacture of laser modules, provides 405nm and 450nm blue laser modules, 515nm, 520nm and 532nm green laser modules, red laser modules and infrared laser modules from 635nm nm to 1550nm. Egismos also manufacture laser line modules, DPSS green laser modules and green diode laser modules for different laser applications, such as laser pointing, laser gun sights, and many biomedical and industrial uses. More customized diode laser modules with different wavelengths and power options are available additionally to the standard types. |
Egismos offers wide variety of red laser modules that have many advantages compared to lasers in other spectrum: cost efficiency, small dimensions, as well as low driving voltage and low power consumption.
Offered wavelengths include, but are not limited to: 635nm, 650nm, and 660nm red laser.
Different housing sizes, housing materials, housing surface treatments are available.
We also offer different sizes of laser casings according to our customer's own designs.
The common applications for red laser modules are laser sighting, skin therapy, laser rangefinders and laser distance meters, laser pointing, tools and laser calibration, industrial alignment and processes.

Green laser diodes gradually replaces green DPSS lasers, and provides diodes with wavelength between 510nm to 530nm, most common being 515nm and 520nm green laser.
Small diode size allows us to offer modules wits as small diameter as 4mm, that can be mounted in virtually any place, for any application.
The green laser diode modules show better stability and a wider operating temperature range. Relying on the high performance of the green laser diode, it is usually used for applications that require higher visibility like outdoor applications, law enforcement, or heavy industry applications. Direct-emitting diodes are not only more efficient than DPSS, but also have faster modulation speeds, which is essential for such applications as Laser Projection.

Egismos offers blue laser diode modules with few different wavelengths: 405nm, 445nm, and the 450nm laser module.
Output power can be from few milliwatts up to 5W. Blue lasers have shorter wavelength which allows beam to be focused into a very small area. Therefore, the most suitable applications are those that require high power density in a very small area: Laser Cutting, Laser Welding, Laser Printing, Lasers for Dermatology, Plastic Surgery and other medical or biomedical applications.
When used together with Egismos green and red lasers, it can act as RGB source for laser projectors.
Blue Lasers are also being used for supplementary plant lighting, which is crucial for greenhouses during the plant vegetative stage.

Infrared lasers are available in 780nm to 1064nm spectrum. Besides NIR (near-infrared spectrum), other custom wavelengths can be offer as well.
The infrared laser applications depend on each different wavelength feature. Infrared is popular for use in laser sensing or laser detection (robot navigation, obstacle detection, security sensors). Some industrial and law enforcement applications for night vision also use IR lasers as well: laser cutting, welding, scanning, laser range finding, military target designation.
Egismos can customize the laser modules as per your requirements and/or design specific DOE (Diffractive Optical Element) that will project custom laser patterns for your application.

EGISMOS provides standard laser modules that are convenient for quick and easy orders of samples or small quantities on our Online-store. We also provide and welcome orders of custom made laser modules with any specification requirement.EGISMOS is not only a laser module manufacturer but can also provide optics, optoelectronic integrated solutions from design to production. Any part or specification of each module can be modified. We divide a laser diode module structure into 4 main sections: 1. Laser diode: ※ According to their different specifications, the cost of a laser diode can vary a lot from one to another. 2. Optical Lens: You can check some of our available specific DOE laser patterns at our dedicated page for DOE: http://www.egismos.com/optical-components.html ※ Spot size: The laser spot size has a direct relationship to the distance of projection. If you can define the operating distance of your laser, the we will adjust the focus of the optical collimating lens to meet your application requirements. EGISMOS can calculate these parameters for you and let you know the possible outcome for your further evaluation. ※ EGISMOS has the optical design capacity to design and create new optical components such as Laser Collimating Lens, Diffractive Optical Elements, etc.. according to your requirements. If you had any questions, please don't hesitate to let us know. 3. Laser Driver Circuit: Apart from CW mode (continuous wave mode), our laser modules can be designed to input a TTL modulation if needed. It can be fixed to run at a certain frequency (Hz) or a specific duty cycle, or can it be alternated via an external PWM input. For such functions, please provide us your electronic requirements. -Main characteristics of laser driver circuit: operating voltage range, CW or Pulse modulation mode (TTL/PWM signal control: frequency range), driving current requirements, APC or ACC mode, laser module safety or circuit protection requirements. ※ Our laser modules can also be prepared to meet eye safety requirements of international standards (CE, FDA, JQA , ...). 4. Optical and mechanical properties: -Main characteristics for mechanical requirements: dimension requirements, boresight or called coaxial angel accuracy of laser module. ※ Other options, such as laser boresight or coaxial requirements, can be additionally specified (our standard specification are <2°). Eye Safety
From the first lasers in 1964, it was clear that this light source had a power not only to do the required job, but that could also be very dangerous if operated improperly. Laser safety guidelines were written for consumers, and power levels are usually written for visible-light, continuous-wave lasers. Laser are now divided into Class 1, Class 1M, Class 2, Class 2M, Class 3R, Class 3B, Class 4. For pulsed lasers and invisible wavelengths, other power limits may apply. In the USA it is considered that Class 2 lasers are safe for consumers, while the EU requires lasers to be Class 1 for consumers products. It is suggested to people working with class 3B and class 4 lasers to protect their eyes with safety goggles, which are designed to absorb light of a particular wavelength. The main characteristics and requirements for the classification system as specified by the IEC 60825-1 standard are listed, along with typical required warning labels. Additionally, classes 2 and higher must have the triangular warning label shown here and other labels are required in specific cases indicating laser emission, laser apertures, skin hazards, and invisible wavelengths. As the professional laser module manufacturer, EGISMOS standard laser modules all can fit the eye safety requirements and support the customer to apply the certification of your laser products. |
